Ethen - square profile

He is 8 years old and ready to start 3rd grade. He has been accepted into the SAIL program at his school. He is smart, funny and incredibly sweet. Ethen has two brothers and a sister.

On July 26, 2013, Ethen was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor in his brain stem.  His current doctors do not offer any hope of long term survival.

Ethen participated in a clinical trial at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN that involved experimental drugs and radiation.  The family spent 8 weeks in Memphis and now is at home in Mount Pleasant S.C.

Medically, Ethen’s treatment is over.  Monitoring the tumor is accomplished by traveling to St. Jude approximately every 2 months.  Now the family is focused on faith and natural medicines for Ethen’s healing.

Although the doctors give Ethen no chance for a future, his family believes that God is still in charge, and that he can be miraculously healed.
